About the Position:
Hiring for a Director of Business Development, responsible to develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate/tie into local business unit, region, and corporate goals. This role determines market strategies & plans to achieve new business targets, researches and develops lists of potential targets, and maintains an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets.
This position can work remotely and live anywhere in the United States, heavy travel is involved so it is preferred that you are near a major metropolitan area.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of sales field experience with at least 3 years in a sales management position.
• Experience with Logistics processes and solutions.
• Management within a matrix organization and negotiation skills.
