About the Position:
Hiring for a Demand and Supply Planning Process Manager, responsible to act as a planning subject matter expert, working with business, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and finance to develop and deploy work processes that enable system utilization and facilitate improvement. This role will work closely with business representatives to understand business plans and improvement roadmaps covering supply and demand requirements, plant capacities, production process/technical limits, and asset/product linkages.
The scope of this role covers short, mid and on range planning horizons. Although responsibilities will cover all time horizons, the main area of focus being on short term, or what’s considered in the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) time horizon. The manager will establish standards of performance for Master Production Scheduling and Production Planning and Resupply (DRP) Planning functions globally, these are considered S&OE planning processes. The role will be responsible for developing programs to assess current performance against the standards and design programs to continually improve performance.
This role will operate heavily with, and demand prior expertise in, SAP IBP's tool and PPDS tool. Optimizing inventory targets, supply planning, scheduling, and maintaining S&OE planning processes. Building metrics in the system and partnering with GBU Planner Leaders and other S&OE planning team members to increase system utilization, capability, and performance.
Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, MIS, or a related technical field is required.
7+ years of prior recent experience in sales and operations planning, supply and demand planning/balancing, operations management, production control, inventory management, and/or scheduling.
Superior knowledge in the major components of SAP including Material Master modules.
Planning and/or scheduling user experience in SAP S4 is required and user experience in IBP is preferred.
